Rated 13+
Burd is intended for users age 13 and older. When you create an account, you must confirm that you meet this minimum age and agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Social features
Burd includes social media capabilities. These features let you interact with content shared by other birders, including:
- A home feed with posts from people you follow
- Likes, comments, and reposts on sightings
- Public profiles and discoverable usernames
- Publishing journal entries to the community feed
Because of these features, Burd is listed on the App Store with a minimum age rating of 13+.
Not for children under 13
Burd is not directed to children under 13 (or a higher age where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has created an account or provided personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate action.
